On the occasion of the Great exhibition in Villa Olmo “The New City”, The War Memorial will be open to the public until the 27th October 2013
Access will be granted by the operators’ accompaniment
The visit takes place on Sunday.
Time: from 3.00 p.m. till 6.00 p.m.
Meeting point: Entrance War Memorial Avenue Puecher
Turns Active: approximately every 30 minutes (accessed 17.30)
Access is allowed to a maximum of 15 people per shift. No reservation is needed.
The single ticket costs € 3.00.
The War Memorial is a symbol of Como Rationalism. A perfect example of the architecture of the ’30s.
This building is located next to the Volta Temple, mausoleum dedicated to Alessandro Volta, and just 2 minutes walk from the Stadium Giuseppe Sinigaglia, the main football stadium of Como.
